BIO:
Alexander Hettinga is a violinist, writer, and artist who runs a non-profit program to coach new and expectant fathers in Pittsburgh, PA. His writing is as varied as his interests, with articles published in Bowhunter Magazine and Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, and blog posts for EriePhil.org and Care-Net.org.
After writing two books just for his younger siblings, Hettinga’s first published book is about his church family. 12121: The Story of North Way Christian Community was published by BGFG in 2021 after years of research and interviews with Dr. Jay Passavant and other founding members of the church. Hettinga holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University.
